Bystrzyna

Bystrzyna ( German Beustrin ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship. It belongs to the municipality Świdwin ( Schivelbein ) in the powiat Świdwiński.

Bystrzyna is about five kilometers northeast of Świdwin on Jezioro Bystrzyna Małe (small Beust Riner Lake ), two kilometers from the Province Road No. 162 Kolobrzeg ( Kolberg) - Drawsko Pomorskie ( Pomerania ) away.

In 1370 Beustrin was from the Brandenburg electors of the wife of Hans von Schivelbein overwritten ( Wedel ). The manor was inherited in the male line of the Brown family since 1803, most recently William Brown was the owner of the goods with a size of 703 hectares.

Beustrin was until 1945 a part of the community Krosino and was incorporated into the office and registrar's office Nelep. District court district was Schivelbein. By 1932, the village belonged to the district Schivelbein until this in the county Belgard ( Persante ) has been integrated. In March 1945, Soviet troops marched into the village. Beustrin came into Polish hands and heard as Bystrzyna today for the rural community Świdwin in powiat Świdwiński.

Ecclesiastical Beustrin was the parish in the parish Krosino and belonged to the church district Schivelbein ( Ecclesiastical Province of Pomerania ), the Evangelical Church of the Old Prussian Union. The church patronage had last landowner Brown held. Last German clergyman was Rev. Martin Lüpke.

Today Bystzryna is part of the parish Koszalin ( Koszalin ) in the Diocese of Pomerania - Greater Poland the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland.
