ÄŒachtice
Čachtice ( Schächtitz German, Hungarian Csejte ) is a municipality in western Slovakia.
Geography
Čachtice is located at the junction of the Little Carpathians in the Danube valley about 7 km south of Neustadt an der Waag at 203 m height.
History
The town was named in 1263 for the first time in the 17th century Anabaptists settled here at. He is known especially for the castle, the main residence of Elizabeth Báthory, the entwine many legends as the " Blood Countess ".

The community is connected to the regional public bus network as well as to the railway on the railway line Nové Mesto nad Váhom - Veseli nad Moravou. The track is from the Slovak Railways Železničná spoločnosť ( ZSSK ) served hourly.
