Café Europe

Café Europe, Café d'Europe or Café Europa was a cultural initiative of the Institute of the Regions of Europe ( IRE) as Europe 2006, during the Austrian EU Presidency. It took 27 Cafés from the capitals of the later EU -27 part.

It is interesting in this context, perhaps, the one called the salon of the French philosopher and enlightener Paul Henri Thiry d' Holbach and his wife as café de l'europe and himself as the chef of the café de l'europe.

Sweet Europe

In the Sweet Europe Café d'Europe action of each country was the EU-27 represented by a typical baked good. Participating cafes offered it to Europe.
