Caitlin Foord

Caitlin Foord Jade (born 11 November 1994 Shellharbour ) is an Australian football player.

Career

Foord began her career at the Illawarra Sports High School and played in the 2008/ 09 season for the team of the New South Wales Institute of Sport. In the 2009/10 season Foord for the Central Coast Mariners debut in the W- League. After the team was disbanded at the end of the season, she moved to Sydney FC. In March 2013 she moved to the U.S. National Women's Soccer League for Sky Blue FC and returned to the end of the NWSL season back on loan to Sydney.

Internationally

On 12 May 2011 Foord debuted during a friendly match against New Zealand in the Australian national team. She took part in the World Cup 2011 in Germany, when the Australian team was eliminated in the quarterfinals. Foord was awarded the first prize to the best young player of the tournament. In October 2011, she was awarded the Australian Football Association award as U-20 Player of the Year.
