Cal O'Reilly

Cal O'Reilly ( born September 30, 1986 in Toronto, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who was most recently at the Metallurg Magnitogorsk in the Kontinental Hockey League contract. His younger brother Ryan is also a professional hockey player.

Career

Cal O'Reilly began his career as a hockey player with the Windsor Spitfires, where he was active from 2003 to 2006 in the Ontario Hockey League. During this time he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2005 in the fifth round as the 150th overall player from the Nashville Predators. In early February 2012, the Pittsburgh Penguins O'Reilly secured services, as they chose to present on the Waiverliste O'Reilly and took under contract. Then he came especially for the Wilkes -Barre Scranton Penguins in the AHL for use, before transferring to HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk of the Kontinental Hockey League in July 2012.

After under-performing at the beginning of the 2013/14 season O'Reilly was first used in Framteam Yuzhny Ural Orsk and released in late October from his contract.
