Calilegua (Jujuy)

Calilegua is a town and municipality in the department of Ledesma in the southwest of the province of Jujuy in Argentina. The city is located about 170 km from the provincial capital of Jujuy, with which it is connected by road Ruta Nacional 34. In the vicinity is named after the town of National Park Calilegua.

The village was founded in 1756 by the establishment of a Jesuit mission station called " Reducción San Ignacio de los Toba ".
