Calimero

The television series is about Calimero, who lives in Palermo and adventures with his girlfriend Priscilla and other residents many adventures.

Production and publication

1972 produced the Japanese studio Toei Animation, a 47 - episode anime television series with the character Calimero. This led Kazuya Miyazaki, Takeshi Tamiya and Yugo Serikawa Director, the character design is by Shinya Takahashi and the artistic director took over Hideo Chiba. The first broadcast took place on January 6, 1972 to June 6, 1973 when the station TROS in the Netherlands instead. The series aired in Japan from 15 October 1974 until September 30, 1975 by TV Asahi.

The anime was broadcast in French, among others, on the TF1, RTL 4 and TROS. The series has also been translated in Italian. The German -language broadcast took place on the ZDF on 5 October 1972.

In 1992, a second season of 52 episodes was produced by Toei Animation. This was first broadcast 15 October 1992 to 9 September 1993. It was also shown on Teletoon in French TPS and 1996 on TF1.

The music of the first season was composed by Tadashi Kinoshita. The opening credits of the original title, Boku wa Calimero (ぼく は カリメロ, Boku wa Kalimero ) and the credits song Suki nano Priscilla (好き な の プリシラ, Suki nano Purishira ) and Kono Kao are there? (この 顔 だ あれ? ) Were sung by Rina Yamazaki. The texts were written by Taichi Yamada and Takeshi Yoshida.

The music of season 2 comes from Junnosuke Yamamoto. As a leader song NE was! Calimero (ねぇ!カリメロ) and as the credits song Koi ni Ki o Tsukete (恋 に 気 を つけ て) is used, each sung by Raspberry.
