Camille Serme

Camille Serme ( born April 4, 1989 in Créteil ) is a French squash player.

Career

Camille Serme began her professional career in the 2005 season so far and won seven titles on the WSA World Tour. Their highest placing in the world rankings, it reached seventh place in October 2010. In her junior career she reached the final of the 2007 World Cup, which they compared the Egyptian Raneem El Weleily with 2:9, 4:9, 9:5 and 3:9 lost. With the French national team, she was repeatedly European vice-champion. In individual competition she reached for the first time in 2011 in Warsaw the final, but lost it against Natalie Grinham with 11:7, 3:11, 9:11 and 5:11. The following year she moved to Helsinki again to the final one and another time was Natalie Grinham her opponent. This time Camille Serme won the encounter with 8:11, 11:6, 11:6 and 11:9, and was the first time European champions. 2013 she defended in the Belgian Herentals, in the third meeting with Natalie Grinham in the final, their title successfully. At the World Championships she achieved her best result so far with the semi-finals in 2010. The World Games 2013, she won the bronze medal.

Her brother Lucas Serme is also active as a squash professional.
