Campeonato de Apertura (Chile)

The Campeonato de Apertura was a Chilean football competition which was held from 1933 to 1950 except for the years 1935, 1936, 1939, 1946 and 1948 with varying degrees of competition format and name as Vorsaisonturnier. It is often regarded as a predecessor of the Chilean competition cup competition, the Copa Chile.

The competition is not to be confused with the Torneo de Apertura, the half- season championship football championship in Chile.

The clubs Santiago FC and Morningstar SC united 1936 CD Santiago Morning.

Final Games

CD Santiago Morning in 1944 and 1950 because of better goal difference over the whole tournament tournament winner.
