Canton of Envermeu
The Canton Envermeu is a French administrative unit in the arrondissement of Dieppe, in the Seine -Maritime in the Haute -Normandie; its chief town is Envermeu, Representative to the General Council of the department since 2001 (re-elected 2008) Gérard Picard (UMP ).
Geography
The Canton Envermeu is 24 937 hectares ( 249.37 km ²) in size and has (2006) 16,846 inhabitants, which corresponds to a population density of 68 inhabitants per km ². He is on average at 90 meters above sea level, between 0 m in Biville- sur -Mer and 196 m in Notre -Dame- d'Aliermont.
