Canton of Mézidon-Canon
The Canton Mézidon- Canon is a French administrative unit in the arrondissement of Lisieux, in the Calvados region and in the region of Basse -Normandie; its chief town is Mézidon- Canon, Representative to the General Council of the department since 2001 (re-elected 2008-2014 ) François Aubey.
Geography
The Canton Mézidon- Canon is 13,630 acres ( 136.30 km ²) in size and had (1999) 10,068 inhabitants, which corresponds to a population density of about 74 inhabitants per km ². He is on average at 42 meters above sea level, between 4 m in Méry- Corbon and 170 m in Castillon -en-Auge.
