It is located near the cities Maldonado and Punta del Este in Maldonado Department.

History and Facilities

The airport was reopened after a renovation on 19 December 1997. The mainly realized by the Consorcio Aeropuertos Internacionales SA with funds Uruguayan and Argentine investors project has a designed by Carlos Ott airport building.
