Capriva del Friuli
Capriva del Friuli ( in furlanischen dialect Caprive and the Slovenian Koprivno ) is a Northeast Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1735 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Gorizia, in Friuli- Venezia Giulia. The community is located about 8.5 kilometers west of Gorizia and is part of the Comunità Montana del Torre, Natisone e Collio.
Traffic
The community is located at the former State Road 56 di Gorizia (now a regional road ) from Udine to Gorizia. The station Capriva del Friuli is served by trains on the railway line Udine- Trieste.
