Mossa
Mossa ( in furlanischen dialect: Mosse, is a Northeast Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1630 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Gorizia, in Friuli- Venezia Giulia The community is located about 5.5 kilometers west of Gorizia and belongs to the Comunità. Montana del Torre, Natisone e Collio. the name derives from the Lombard and corresponds to the German moss -Au.
Traffic
Through the community, the Strada Statale 56 di Gorizia from Udine to Gorizia leads to the Slovenian border. The train station of Mossa is on the railway line Udine- Trieste.
