Carina Witthöft

Carina Witthöft (born 16 February 1995 Wentorf ) is a German tennis player.

Career

Witthöft 2009 was youngest at the age of 14 years hamburger Ladies Champion. In the same year she played her first ITF tournaments.

Witthöft won the previous four ITF tournaments; the last three of which were endowed with $ 25,000. On 30 April 2011, she celebrated the 10,000- US- dollar tournament in Gengenbach their first tournament victory. 2012 was followed by victories in June and July in Ystad in Wrexham.

In July 2012, Witthöft debut at the Sony Open 2012 Swedish on the WTA Tour; in the qualification they had prevailed against Marina Shamayko, Akgul Amanmuradova and Jill Craybas. She lost in the first round against Kateryna Bondarenko.

In June 2013, it reached the first time the main draw of a Grand Slam tournament after they had successfully passed the qualification at Wimbledon. She lost her first round match against Kimiko Date Krumm, with 0:6, 2:6. In August 2013, she won her fourth in Hechingen ITF titles.

Since 2014 Witthöft is trained by Torben Beltz.
