Carl Laufs

Carl run ( born December 20, 1858 in Mainz, † August 13, 1900 in Kassel) was successful as a writer of comedies and farces.

Together with William Jacoby, he worked in the Mainz Carnival Club and completed in 1889 the highly successful farce Pension Schoeller, which arose from an idea by Jacoby and was premiered in Berlin in 1890. For text itself Jacoby had contributed nothing; still run him left half of current revenues.

In the years that run worked as a freelance writer in Göttingen.

As a wealthy man run Carl died on August 13, 1900 in Kassel.
