Carlo Rota

Carlo Rota ( born April 17, 1961 in London, England) is a British- Canadian actor of Italian descent.

Life and achievements

Carlo Rota was born in London's Soho. He has a brother named Marco and two sisters. The father, Dante Rota, comes from the Piedmont and the mother, Rina, from Sardinia. The now retired father was a well-known chef, and his mother worked as a seamstress and cook. Carlo Rota learned the English and Italian language and grew up in Europe, Asia and the Caribbean. Carlo Rota worked in New York at Joe Allen's restaurant Orso and was voted the best maître d' hôtel of the year 1987. He also moved to Canada to participate in the restaurant operation with parents.
