Carlo Zotti

Carlo Zotti ( born September 3, 1982 in Benevento) is an Italian football goalkeeper. He played between February 2009 and June 2011, the Swiss club AC Bellinzona.

Career

Club career

Carlo Zotti began his professional career in the 2002/03 season at AS Roma, for whom he already played in his youth. His first Serie A game he played in the 3-1 win against FC Turin. Zotti stayed for two more years in Rome, where he played a total of 14 league games and 18 goals conceded.

After that, he was loaned for one year to Ascoli Calcio, but where he remained without use. In the season 2006/ 07 Zotti returned to Rome, but was borrowed during the winter break again, this time to Sampdoria. There he stayed behind Gianluca Berti number two, played only once and received it two goals.

In the 2008/2009 season he was sold to AS Cittadella in the B series, after twelve games he joined in January 2009 for AC Bellinzona, which plays in the Swiss Axpo Super League. He has played 31 games and looked three times the red card (as of September 2010).

National

Zotti played his first and only international match in the U- 17 national team on 17 November 1999 in a 2-1 victory against Switzerland. For the U-18 national team, he played five times, including two times in qualifying for the U-18 European Championship in 2001. In 2004, he was employed in two games for the Italian U-21 national team. In a total of eight junior internationals he conceded just four goals.

Overall Zotti was 20 times in a junior national squad, but was not yet appointed to the senior team.
