Carlos Leal

Carlos Leal ( born July 9, 1969 in Lausanne ) is a Swiss actor and rapper.

Biography

Leal came as the son of Spanish immigrants to the world. He grew up in Lausanne suburb Renens and trained as a civil engineering draftsman. In 1990 he founded with the music producer Just One, and other friends, the hip- hop group Sens Unik, which soon established itself internationally. During the following ten years Sens Unik won four times gold record and contributed to films such as La Haine or Neutre the theme music at.

After his first small film roles Leal left Sens Unik 2005 to take acting lessons in Paris. He played the male lead in the romantic drama Snow White and was awarded several times. Below Leal received supporting roles in major international productions such as the 21 James Bond film Casino Royale (2006).

2008 Leal moved with his family to Madrid, two years later to Los Angeles. He received a greater role in the Spanish TV series El Internado and won in Spain so a higher level of awareness than in France and Switzerland. In the movie Broken Embraces, he played a supporting role. For Verso and Sennentuntschi Leal returned briefly to Switzerland.

Since 2011 he advertises the Swiss telecommunications company UPC Cablecom. In early February 2012, the commercial, which shows him as he stands up in the wind tunnel speed of internet connection, named the campaign of the year. In 2013 he entered the Swiss comedy Who Killed Johnny ( Yangzom Brauen ) on Melanie Winick and Max Loong.

Since January 2014 Leal can be seen on the side of Mike Mueller in the series The undertaker.

Personal

Leal is married to the Belgian fellow actress Jo Kelly, they have a son. With Jo Kelly Leal realized under the name Les Danseurs Sénégalais also the short films Dawn, Elvis & Angel and The Art of Kissing.
