Carlos Renato Frederico
Carlos Renato Frederico, called Renato ( born February 21, 1957 in Morungaba, São Paulo) is a former football player who played as an attacking midfielder.
Career
During his career he played for Guarani FC (1975-1980), Sao Paulo (1980-1984), Botafogo FR (1985 ), Atlético Mineiro (1986-1989 ) in Japan at Yokohama F. Marinos (1989-1992) and Kashiwa Reysol (1993 ) and later in Brazil at AA Ponte Preta (1994-1996) and EC Taubaté (1997).
He once won the Brazilian championship (1978), twice the state championship of São Paulo (1980, 1981), twice the state championship of Minas Gerais ( 1986, 1988 ) and once the Japanese championship (1990).
Between July 1979 and October 1983, he played twenty-two times for Brazil and scored three goals. He was in the squad for the World Cup 1982 ( without insert) and for the Mundialito 1980/81, where Brazil was second.
International Goals
- When 3:1 - victory of Brazil on 26 January 1982 against East Germany 3-1 in Natal.
- When 3:2 - victory of Brazil on 28 April 1983 against Chile in Rio de Janeiro.
- When 2:1 - victory of Brazil on December 9, 1987 against Chile in Uberlandia.
