Caroline's Spine

Caroline 's Spine is an American rock band around singer and composer Jimmy Newquist.

History

Caroline 's Spine was founded in 1993 by Jimmy Newquist, who still grossed for the recordings of their debut album all the instruments himself. Together with Mark Haugh, Jason Gilardi and Luis Moral Newquist went to Caroline 's Spine first time as more piece band on tour. The band has often been reshuffled, with Newquist has remained the only constant. Until 1997 published Caroline 's Spine four studio albums with the indie label ANZA Records. The albums Monsoon (1997) and Attention Please (1999) with Hollywood Records, after which a return to independent labels took place.

In 1997, she was entitled Turned Blue, who was only included on the album Attention Please, on the soundtrack of the film An American Werewolf in Paris. In 1999, she contributed with Varsity Blue at the title song for the soundtrack of the film Varsity Blues.

The biggest success of the band in the United States was the song on the Sullivan Sullivan Brothers.

On tour were Caroline 's Spine, among others with Aerosmith, Kiss and Queensrÿche. In Germany they played among other things, in 1997 at Rock am Ring.
