Carolyne Barry
Carolyne Barry (actually Carole Stuppler; born July 20, 1943 in Brooklyn, New York City ) is an American dancer, actress, acting teacher and casting director.
Life
Barry participated from 1964 to 1965 as a dancer and singer in the TV show Shindig! .
She had her first TV appearance in 1965 in the series Mr. Novak. Other roles she acted in series such as Star Trek (1967 ), for solo Oncel (1967 ), Here Come the Brides ( 1968-1970 ), FBI (1971 ), The Boss (1971 ) Hotel (1986) Dynasty (1987) and California communities (1987).
Her first film appearance was in 1966 in Out of Sight. In 1976, she starred in Dark August where she also participated as a screenwriter.
From 1983-1989 Barry ran the Professional Artist Group where she worked as a drama teacher and casting director. Since 1982, Carolyne Barry Workshops is one of the most successful acting schools in Los Angeles. Barry and her colleagues trained thousands of professional actors. She also wrote training programs for aspiring actors, as well as a book called Hit The Ground Running.
