Carron, Speyside

Carron (Gaelic: Carrann ) is a village in the Scottish unitary authority Moray and the traditional county of Banffshire. It is about 5 km southwest of Aberlour and 22 km south of Elgin located on the northern shore of Spey.

Carron is located in the midst of significant Whisky Speyside and is self- location of the currently disused whiskey distillery Imperial, which belongs to the international group Pernod Ricard. In the neighboring villages of Aberlour and Knockando many other distilleries are located.
