The Cascade River is a left tributary of the Bow River in the Canadian province of Alberta.

The Cascade River is a river in the Canadian Rockies. The river is within the Banff National Park. It has its origin at the Bonnet Glacier and Badger Pass. It is fed by the glaciers of the mountains Bonnet Peak, Peak and block Flint Mountain. He initially flows in an easterly direction, but then turns south, flows through the Stewart Canyon and flows into the western end of Lake Minnewanka. The pent-up lake is used to generate electricity. The water is diverted to Two Jack Lake, from where it flows to a hydroelectric power station on a channel and a pressure tunnel. The Cascade River finally flows 5 km east of Banff in the Bow River. The Cascade River has a length of about 55 km.
