Casey McKee

Casey McKee (born 1976 in Phoenix, Arizona) is an American artist who lives and works in Berlin.

Career

McKee's work has been shown in numerous exhibitions, such as the Village People at the Kunstverein Wolfsburg, Human Conditions in Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art in Scottsdale, Arizona, and UN / FAIR TRADE - The Art of Justice at the Neue Galerie Graz on Universal Museum Joanneum in Austria Graz. He is represented by Galerie Greulich in Frankfurt am Main and by Helium Cowboy in Hamburg.

McKee works mainly in a mixed technique, a combination of photography and painting. First, he makes a photograph and by means of photographic emulsion he transfers it to a surface (eg, linen, wood, handmade paper, etc.) Most of the time spent McKee with working with oil paint to produce the desired aspects of the object.
