Částkov (Uherské Hradiště District)

Částkov ( German Czastkow, 1939-1945 Tschastkow ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located ten kilometers north of Uherský Brod and belongs to Okres Uherské Hradiště.

Geography

Částkov is located in the southwest of Vizovice mountain country at the transition to Prakšická Highlands. The village stretches along the edge of the Park Prakšická highlands in the valleys of the river Částkovský creek and its tributaries Loštický creek and Řásná. To the northeast, the Doubí rise ( 429 m), Pasecky Kopec (377 m ) and Kopec ( 341 m), in the southeastern Obce ( 336 m ) south of the Vrchovina (331 m ) and in the southwest the Rovná hora (350 m) and Nad zahradami ( 296 m).

Neighboring towns are Mladé and Svárov in Morden, Doubravy, Doubí, Paseky and Kelníky in the northeast, Lany, hacky and Velky Ořechov in the east, Dobrkovice and Pašovice the southeast, Grefty, Prakšice, Drslavice, Lhotka and Hradčovice in the south, Podolí, Popovice Javorovec, Mistřice and Nedachlebice the southwest, Malá Strana in the west and Topolná and Březolupy in the northwest.

History

Hubel grave dating from around 2000 BC. occupy a prehistoric settlement in the municipal area. The first written mention of the village Schasticow and festivities took place in 1321 as the seat of Vladiken Jaroslaw de Schasticow ( Jaroslav z Částkova ). In 1447 the city was designated as Sczastkow and from 1463 as Czastkow. The owners changed frequently, the most important families were the Vladiken of Honbice, whose coat of arms is also found in today's coat of arms. After Czastkow had been connected to the rule Kunovice, the festivals lost its importance as a manor. It was probably burned down during the Bohemian- Hungarian power struggles for the crown of Bohemia 1468-1470 together with Svárov and Zlámaný Újezd ​​. 1497 celebrations was called desolate, and rebuilt in the 16th century. 1605 were the Transylvanian rebels under Stephen Bocskai in Czastkow and devastated the place. Later, several outbreaks of plague followed. During the Thirty Years War, the fort was finally destroyed in 1640. The oldest town seal dates from the late 18th century and bears the inscription PECET.OBCE.CZASTKOWSKE. 1820 originated in Czastkow own school, before the lessons were held in the parish school Velky Ořechov.

After the abolition of patrimonial Czastkow formed in 1850 a municipality in the district team Uherský Brod. Since 1872, the present-day city name Částkov used. In 1950 the church was assigned to the Okres Uherské Hradiště.
