Castor (Alberta)
Castor is a village in the Canadian province of Alberta in central Alberta, 143 km east of the city of Red Deer. Castor is one of 931 residents and 437 households (2006 ) on an area of 2.72 km ².
The village was founded in 1905. The economy of castor is made of agriculture, oil and gas companies and mining.
A well-known figure of Castor is the former ice hockey player Darcy Tucker.
