Red Deer, Alberta

Red Deer is a city in Alberta ( Canada). It is located in the Parklands between Calgary and Edmonton, at the northern end of the Palliser Triangle. With approximately 97,000 inhabitants ( 2013) it is behind Calgary and Edmonton, the third largest city in the province of Alberta. Economic backbone of the city are oil production and agribusiness. The area around the town is an important center for the petrochemical industry.
