Catavi (La Paz)

Catavi is a village in the department of La Paz in the South American landlocked Bolivia.

Catavi is the central place of the Canton Catavi district ( bolivian: Municipio) Pucarani in the province of Los Andes. The city lies at an altitude of 3843 m fifteen kilometers southeast of Lake Titicaca, from where the wide plains of the Bolivian highlands extends beyond to the southeast on El Alto and Calamarca.

Geography
