Cauldron (Band)

Cauldron (English, [ witches ] boiler ' ) is a Canadian heavy metal band from Toronto.

History

The band was founded in 2006 by Jason Decay (vocals, bass ) and Al Chambers ( drums), who had previously played together in the already resolved in 2005 Heavy-/Doom-Metal-Band Goat Horn. As a guitarist of the band joined in the same year Ian Chains, who was a member of the Canadian heavy metal band Thor, as well as decay before. After the release of their debut album Chained to the Nite in April 2009, the band played some concerts as opening act for Bonded by Blood and Toxic Holocaust and went from 20 August to 22 September 2009, with the Enforcer on the North American Nightmare Tour through the United states. End of the year, followed by concerts with the Swedish band Wolf in England, as the opening act of Municipal Waste in North America, as well as a short headlining tour of eastern Canada. Along with the bands Enforcer, Steelwing Suicidal Angels and the band went in May 2010 for two weeks on a European tour called Power of Metal.

In August 2010, started to record Cauldrons second album Burning Fortune, which was released in February 2011 Earache Records. In May, a North American tour followed along with Holy Grail.
