Çayırova is a district of the Turkish province of Kocaeli, while a district of Büyükşehir Belediyesi ( city municipality ) Kocaeli. The village is located about 50 kilometers west of the provincial capital of İzmit.

The district is located in the west of the province. It is bordered on the east by Gebze, on the south by Darıca and to the west by the province of Istanbul. It is bordered to the north by the European Route 80 and on the south by the highway D -100. It is built entirely urban, the area of the place is fully compliant with the district.

By Çayırova the route of the Anatolian Railway from Istanbul Haydarpaşa leads to Ankara.
