Central Division, Fiji

The Central Division is one of four divisions of the Pacific state of Fiji. It is composed of the provinces of Naitasiri, Namosi, Rewa, Serua and Tailevu and is located in the central part of the territory. It consists of the eastern part of Viti Levu, the largest island of the state, and some offshore islands, such as Beqa. The total land area of the Central Division is 4093 km ².

The province has a land border with the Western Division and sea borders to Eastern and Northern Division. The provincial capital, Suva, is also the capital of the state. In the census of the year 2007 342.386 inhabitants were counted in the Central Division, of which 212 580 103 133 Fijians and Fiji Indians.
