Centre Party (Nauru)

The Nauruan Centre Party (Centre Party, CP) is an informal political party in Nauru. It was formed from the former President Kinza Clodumar and supported René Harris, an ally Clodumars, in Parliament, especially in confidence votes for or against him.

The CP played only a minor role in Parliament and other political life in Nauru since its inception. The party was able to hold between 1997 and 2003 with Clodumar at least one seat in parliament, but lost that final after the early elections on 23 October 2004.
