The Kefalonia " Odysseus " airport (English Kefalonia International Airport " Odysseus " ) is the international airport of the Greek island of Kefalonia and is located southeast of the island's capital, Argostoli near the village of Milies. History

Kefalonia Airport was opened in 1971 and was served only by Olympic Airlines by aircraft type YS -11 from Athens, before the island only ferry and helicopter services ( air taxi ) was reached. A special feature was a route that linked several Ionian Islands, and therefore " Leoforio " (Greek for bus ) was called. It existed until about 2005.
