Chang An Airlines is a Chinese airline based in Xi'an, Shaanxi.

History

Chang An Airlines was established on December 24, 1992 and started scheduled operations on June 1, 1993. The HNA Group owns a 73.51 percent stake in Chang An Airlines.

On 30 November 2007 it was merged with the airlines Hainan Airlines, Shanxi Airlines and China Xinhua Airlines to Grand China Air. With as of May 2013, they will again receive a greater degree of independence.
