Chaoyang District, Shantou

The Chaoyang District (Chinese潮阳 区) is a district of the prefecture-level city of Shantou ( Swatow ) in the Chinese province of Guangdong. The municipality has an area of ​​667.6 km ² and has approximately 1.54 million inhabitants (2003 ).
