Charaña

Charaña is a village in the department of La Paz in the South American Andes State of Bolivia.

Charaña is the central place of the district ( bolivian: Municipio) Charaña in the province Pacajes. The village is located on the Bolivian Altiplano to the Chilean border at an altitude of 4067 m on one of the tributaries of the Rio Mauri, which flows into the Río Desaguadero. Geography
