Charles C. Thompson

Charles Coleman Thompson ( born April 11, 1961 in Louisville ) is Bishop of Evansville.

Life

The Archbishop of Louisville, Thomas Cajetan Kelly OP, ordained him a priest on 30 May 1987.

Pope Benedict XVI. appointed him on 26 April 2011 for the Bishop of Evansville. The Archbishop of Louisville, Joseph Edward Kurtz, donated to him on June 29th of the same year, the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were Daniel Mark the booklet OSB, Archbishop of Indianapolis, Thomas Cajetan Kelly OP, Archbishop Emeritus of Louisville, and Gerald Andrew Gettelfinger, Bishop Emeritus of Evansville.
