Charles Djou

Charles Kong Djou ( born August 9, 1970 in Los Angeles, California) is an American politician who represented the state of Hawaii in the U.S. House of Representatives.

The Republican Djou belonged from 2000 to 2002 the House of Representatives from Hawaii and from 2002 to 2010 the City Council of Honolulu. After the Democrat Neil Abercrombie had resigned his seat in Congress to focus on the upcoming gubernatorial election, which he also won a by-election was held in the first Congressional District of Hawaii, in which prevail Djou with 39.4 percent of the votes cast could.
