Charles Webb (author)

Charles Richard Webb ( born June 9, 1939 in San Francisco, California) is an American author. His most famous work is his debut novel, The Graduate, which was published in 1963 and was filmed four years later as The Graduate.

Life

Webb grew up in Pasadena, California, on. He attended Midland School in Los Olivos, California. Webb graduated in 1961 from Williams College. He lived for several years in Hastings-on- Hudson. Webb wrote several novels. He currently lives with his family in Hove, East Sussex.
