Chautauqua Airlines is an American regional airline based in Indianapolis and is a subsidiary of Republic Airways Holdings. It operates its aircraft in regional and feeder routes for several major U.S. airlines.

History

The company was founded in 1973 in Jamestown on Chautauqua Lake from the eponymous former chief pilot of the Mohawk Airlines, Joel Hall, and his wife Gloria. The airline should carry out regional flights on behalf of Allegheny Airlines, as Allegheny wanted to concentrate on longer distances.

1974-1994
