The chi ( Thai: แม่น้ำ ชี ) is named after the Moon is the second largest river in the Northeast region ( Isaan ) of Thailand.

With 765 kilometers of the Chi River is longer than the Mun, total flows through the Mun but more water. Its catchment area covers approximately 49,476 km ².

The source is located in Phetchabun Mountains; the river runs through the provinces of Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et and Yasothon and Sisaket empties into the Mun.
