Choong Tan Fook

Choong Tan Fook ( born February 6, 1976) is a badminton player from Malaysia.

Career

He played at the 2004 Summer Olympics in the men's doubles badminton with his partner Lee Wan Wah. They had a bye in the first round and defeated in the second round Pramote Teerawiwatana and Tesana Panvisavas from Thailand. In the quarterfinals, Choong and Lee were subject to Lee Dong -soo and Yoo Yong -sung of South Korea with 11:15, 15:11, 15:9.

Zhang Jiewen, the Olympic gold medalist in women's doubles by 2004, China announced in August 2008 after she was eliminated from the Olympic badminton tournament in Beijing in 2008 in the quarterfinals, announced that she and Choon Tan Fook want to get married.
