Chota Char Dham

Chota Char Dham (Hindi: छोटा चार धाम Chota CAR Dham [ tʃ ʰ o ː ʈɑ ː tʃɑ ː r d ʱ ɑ ː m] " smaller Char Dham ") is a Hindu pilgrimage in India which is situated in the north of the country in the Himalayas.

The four temples are the pilgrims Badrinath Temple in Badrinath, Kedarnath temple in the Kedarnath, Gangotri Temple Gangotri and Yamunotri temple in Yamunotri. All four temples are located in the Indian state of Uttarakhand.

The pilgrimage is not to be confused with the pilgrimage Char Dham ( " four centers " ), which extends over the entire Indian sub-continent and the four cardinal points of India highlighted. The Badrinath temple belongs to both the "small" than to the "big " Char Dham.
