Chris Melling (pool player)

Chris Melling (also: Christopher Melling ) (born 27 January 1979) is an English snooker player. He was 2001 and 2003 8-Ball World Champion of World Eight-ball Pool Federation.

In October 2010, he won his first and only Euro Tour event with the Portuguese Open.

Melling won in 2011 and 2012 with Team Europe the Mosconi Cup and 2012 was also named Most Valuable Player.

Since 2013 Melling plays for BSV Fürstenfeldbruck in the first snooker league

Chris Melling is also active as a snooker player and was able to qualify on the Pontin's International Open Series for the Main Tour Snooker Season 2006/ 07. Meanwhile, however, he no longer plays on the main tour.
