Chrislo Haas

Christian Ludwig " Chrislo " Haas ( born November 16, 1956 in Aichach; † 23 October 2004 in Berlin) was a German musician and founding member of bands DAF and Der Plan.

Chrislo Haas coined the German music scene of the 1980s largely through his work on the synthesizer ( Korg MS -20) with Minus Delta t, DAF, Liaisons Dangereuses Chbb as a precursor of and later in Crime and the City Solution. He is regarded as one of the founding fathers of the modern techno and electronic dance music. On Lunatec he produced with non -Eric the track Go under the project name Armed Response. The maxi-single was also released on Mute Records. His two plates for the label Tresor Records he released under the name " Chrislo ".

Haas is one of the protagonists in Jürgen Teipels docu- novel waste your youth.

Chrislo Haas died in late October 2004 at the age of 47 years in a Berlin apartment to circulatory collapse due to excessive alcohol consumption.
