Chrissie White

Chrissie White, nee Ada Constance White, ( * May 23, 1895 in London, † August 18 1989 in Hollywood, California ) was a British child actress and actress. She was one of the first stars of the British film.

Life

She was born as Ada Constance White, and made ​​her film debut in 1909. Frequently appeared in short films by Lewin Fitzhamon, including jointly with Alma Taylor from 1910 to 1915 in a comedy series as the title heroine Tilly. She was employed exclusively by the film company by Cecil Hepworth and her career ended in 1924 with the bankruptcy of the Hepworth Studios.
