Christian Duguay (director)

Christian Duguay ( born 1957 in Montreal, Quebec ) is a Canadian film director.

He studied at Concordia University. He is married to actress Liliana Komorowska. In 1996 he received a Gemini Award for the miniseries The mother snatched away ( $ one million babies), in which he filmed the story of the Dionne Quintuplets. In 1999 and 2003 he was nominated for an Emmy in each case, namely for Jeanne d' Arc - The woman of the millennium and Hitler - The Rise of Evil.

In the science fiction movie Screamers - Deadly Screams (1995 ) he made the characters of Peter Weller and Roy Dupuis experience horror on a distant planet. In the espionage thriller The Assignment - The Assignment (1997) with Aidan Quinn and Donald Sutherland he raised the hunt for the terrorist Carlos to life. In the television mini-series Human Trafficking (2005) with Mira Sorvino, Donald Sutherland and Rémy Girard he presented the trafficking of young girls and their exploitation dar.
