Aidan Quinn

Aidan Quinn ( born March 8, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois ) is an American actor.

Life

Aidan Quinn comes from an Irish family. His father was a professor of literature, his older brother Declan is a cameraman, his younger sister Marian actress and director. He grew temporarily lived in Belfast, Dublin and other Irish cities. At the age of 19 he was playing at a theater in Chicago. He graduated from Rockford West High School and DePaul University where he studied theater spectacle.

For his role in the television movie Sooner Frost ( 1985), one of the first dramas, the content dealt with the subject of AIDS, Quinn appeared alongside Gena Rowlands and Ben Gazzara and was nominated for an Emmy. He took over in 1986 in the film Mission greater role alongside Robert De Niro and Jeremy Irons. A year later, he played the villain in the hit movie The night has many eyes. In the movie Benny and Joon Quinn played 1993 a starring role alongside Johnny Depp and Mary Stuart Masterson, 1994 in Legends of the Fall alongside Brad Pitt and Anthony Hopkins. For his role in the fantasy film Practical Magic, in which he appeared alongside Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock in 1998, he was nominated for a Blockbuster Entertainment Award. He appeared in Chicago in some theater productions the Goodman Theatre Acting Company and the Steppenwolf Theatre Company.

Quinn is married to actress Elizabeth Bracco since 1987, the two have two daughters together.
