Christian Fickert

Christian Fickert ( born February 10, 1981 in Mannheim ) is a German football player.

Career

The defender started his professional career at SV Waldhof Mannheim. He moved in summer 2003 to Rot- Weiss Essen, arrived there due to various disagreements but not used. His contract was dissolved on 31 December 2003. He then moved to the Oberliga for SV Sandhausen and promotion to the Regionalliga. In January 2009 he moved to SpVgg Neckarelz free transfer, where he played until the 2010/11 season. At the beginning of the season 2011/12 Fickert joined the TDSV mother, who had just gained in the federation League West. Fickert played so far 62 second division games ( 2 goals) and 24 Regional games ( no goals ). (As of June 6, 2009 )

With the SpVgg Neckarelz he met in the first round of the DFB - Cup 2009/10 FC Bayern Munich. This game will stay with him but bad memories: Neckarelz lost with 1:3, and Fickert flew with yellow / red from the square. At the end of the season he rose with Neckarelz to Oberliga Baden- Württemberg.

National

Fickert played under coach Uli Stielike in the U-18 national team and was together with, among others, Benjamin Lauth, Benjamin Auer and Hanno Balitsch in the squad of the U-18 European Championship in 2000 .. With players like Balitsch, Auer, Jermaine Jones, Denis Lapaczinski and Andreas Hinkel he also belonged to the levy of the U -20 team of the DFB at the World Championship 2001 in Argentina, came there but not used.
